Adams and Company was started in 1865 to serve the stationery, magazine and book needs of the colonial community. It was during the 1930’s Depression that the business moved into its present city centre building with various other branches being opened with educational books, academic books as well as on-line booking services.
The West Street branch specializes in books for UNISA students and Nurses, but you will also find a substantial general range.
Adams Musgrave Centre offers a peaceful environment to many general book lovers on the Durban Berea, and book lovers can also enjoy the coffee and a light meal.
They also have two shops serving students on the two Campuses of the University of KZN.
Medibooks offers a fine range of medical books for students and for professionals and has customers ranging around the country.
Adams is your gateway to the book world of your choice, because at the click of a mouse you can discover books on almost any subject as well as availability details. If you can’t find what you are looking, email them and they will look for it for you.
