They were esablished in 2005 and are a Christian Book & Coffee shop stocking a wide range of bibles, books, gifts and music. Take an hour or two out of your busy day and disappear into the tranquil surroundings where you can de-stress and relax with a cup of world class coffee and tasty treats.

At the Reader’s Warehouse, which is a discount bookshop offering its readers thousands of interesting book titles and excellent prices, you will also find a large children’s area filled with books for young children as well as teenagers. They also have a range of other interesting books – books on philosophy, religion, travel, alternative spirituality, myths and mythology.
The bookstore is renowned for its inscribed author photographs, some 250 or so to be found there.
They also offer street guides and postcards. They offer local and international mail order services and will try to get hold of books you can’t find.
The bookstore has also a great range of local authors fiction and non fiction novels and books. Some of the authors include Michael Bond – creator of Paddington Bear, fantasy authors Terry Brookes and Juliet E Mckenna, thriller and murder mystery authors Faye and Jonathan Kellerman and romance authors Barbara Taylor Bradford and Danielle Steel to name just a few.
They are becoming more involved in building on their book clubs, being involved in more national and international book releases, author visits and events and continuing their main aim of offering the South African public a place where they can find some great reading material.

They were established in 1956 and are one of Cape Town’s oldest bookstores. They offer new, second-hand and out of print books on Southern Africa, and a large selection of general second-hand books. Of the new books in their, there is a particularly good selection of literature on South Africa, film and antiques. They also stock books published in Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and South Africa.
They also sell all kinds of collectable books and for specialised artists books, you can rely on Clarke’s. They also specialise in Africana books, concentrating mainly on Africa south of the Sahara. They offer an active search service for all antiquarian and secondhand books on Southern Africa. Books are mailed worldwide.
They issue catalogues twice a year of new publications on Southern Africa with a small listing of out of print South African titles. Once you have selected your books and filled in the order form on-line with your name, address and email they will quote registered and insured air- or surface postage.
