They are a busy and popular secondhand book store offering an extensive private collection that can be viewed by appointment or searched online.
Their second hand bookstore is one of the main attractions of the market. They also have a large number of fine and rare titles.
They also have a number of limited, signed or numbered editions, first editions from Ian Fleming, Wilbur Smith, J M Coetzee and other renowned authors.
Most of their collection can be searched online. They operate a mail-order service, both within South Africa and internationally and are able to scan or photograph any particular book and email it to you within one working day.

They were established in 2008 and customers will also be able to visit their tea garden on Sundays and buy organic products. On top of that the owner, Esme van Bergen, is willing to receive customers at the book shop before and after business hours, by appointment.
